Sponsor A Child Through Secondary School

          Picture
Possibly the best chance of empowering children and young people, enabling them to change their lives for the better, is to provide them with the basic elements of education.

While primary education is free in Malawi, unfortunately secondary school education costs. Many young people at Samalani miss out on continuing their education because of this.

          How It Works

          Picture
This is where you can step in and make a real difference.

The youth's progress is monitored by our staff in Malawi and sponsors are kept up to date regularly, through reports letters and photos. You also have the chance to write to your sponsor.

We also offer students attending secondary school support and a classroom, at Samalani, providing them with a suitable environment to study after school hours

          Cost

By sponsoring a young person at Samalani you will be opening doors of opportunity that would otherwise have been closed.

‘I’m Samuel and I’m in form three. I have lost both parents, father and mother two years ago now. I live with my grandparents, they are too old and no longer to find (or) pay school fees for me. I pay school fees myself, I just find piece work, and after working, owner of work give me money, then I use that money for school. I look forward to you’
